Try your First Class for just £5

You can now try your first class for just £5! This offer is limited to my larger group sessions only. If you're a beginner and would feel more comfortable in a smaller group, feel free to explore my schedule here.

I'd love to introduce as many people as possible to the wonderful benefits of yoga and mindfulness. I understand that many people have had negative experiences due to bad gym yoga classes or unfriendly studios, which is why I offer an accessible, inclusive, and lighthearted approach to yoga.

My classes are not focused on how your body should look in a pose, but on how it feels and ensuring you have fun while practicing. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio soon!

As a beginner,
what class should I start with?

Ask yourself, what are your reasons for starting yoga? All yoga classes will aid your mental heath and mobility, but it’s best to help yourself and choose a class which is the right fit for you.

For example, if you struggle with stillness, and have a busy overactive mind it’s usually a good choice to start with a faster flow as you’re moving so quickly and following the breath you’ll have little time to get distracted, in Vinyasa and Power yoga you are both increasing flexibility and strength, and these classes can be more of a work out.

Similarly, if you are looking to "feel the burn" and have more of a dynamic class in mind, Power Yoga or Power to Yin Yoga is a great style however these are a little fast paced if you're still learning the basics, therefore I would recommend starting with my Beginners Ashtanga Yoga to prepare for these classes.

If you’re looking to rest, recoup and aid burn out or stress a slower practice like Restorative Yin or Slow Flow Yoga would be a perfect fit.

If you’re not sure then I recommend starting with Vinyasa yoga , and from here you can decide if you want to go a little faster and try power flow or slow it down and try yin.

All my classes incorporate breath-work, and finish with a relaxing meditation you just need to choose which speed you'd like to try.

It’s important to remember to listen to your body and adjust your practice when you need to, some weeks you may need to get that body moving and try a fast class, but sometimes we just need to slow it right down and take rest.

What do I need to bring?

Yoga mats and equipment such as blocks and bolsters are provided in most classes as detailed in the class description when booking, however if you would like to bring your own you are very welcome to. If you need to borrow one for your first class and you're unsure if your class has mats and equipment provided please reach out and pop me a message.

You don't need to wear any high tech, expensive yoga gear for my classes, simply wear comfortable clothing you can move freely in.

Remember to stay hydrated! All my studios have water or a herbal tea stations available, remember to bring your water bottle.

If you have any questions, worries or concerns before you first class please reach out.  I fully understand joining a new class and community can be scary, and I am here to support you on your journey.
